Find ice together.
Protect the signal together.

ICE MAP keeps official public information separate from short-lived visitor signals. These guidelines explain what to report, how confidence is judged, and how false reports, abuse, and disputes are handled.

01 · What the service can and cannot promise

ICE MAP is an independent information guide, not an official service of a retailer, listed shop, or Google Maps.

A useful starting point

The site organizes published flavors, official store snapshots, sourced city picks, and short-lived field reports to narrow a search.

No live-stock guarantee

Mix shortages, cleaning, temporary pauses, queues, and changed hours may not appear online. Check the official locator or call before a long detour.

02 · Field reports and flavor votes

The feature closes a public-data gap; it is not an anonymous review board.

Fixed choices, no public free text

Store reports accept only bought it, machine cleaning, sold out, or flavor changed. Flavor votes must use a candidate already listed by ICE MAP.

One store, one present condition

Choose the exact store and report only what you personally see now. Do not submit reposts, guesses, old memories, or another branch’s condition.

Short-lived data expires

Store conditions last no more than 24 hours. Flavor votes expire after 12 hours and are cleared within 24 hours, so yesterday’s answer cannot pose as today’s.

03 · Confidence, conflicts, and corrections

ICE MAP would rather show uncertainty than turn a busy vote count into false certainty.

Independent corroboration matters

Confidence rises when different anonymous visitors report the same condition close together. One report never overrides an official source or confirms stock by itself.

Conflicts stay visible

When recent reports disagree, the interface keeps a disputed or check-first state instead of letting a simple majority hide a newer change.

Published corrections are verified

Use Contact & corrections for a wrong name, address, source, rating, or translation. The editorial team checks the evidence before changing content, and submissions are not posted automatically.

04 · Prohibited behavior

These actions damage everyone’s decisions and may be rate-limited, ignored, or blocked.

False reports and coordinated voting

Do not invent purchases, sell-outs, cleaning, or flavor states, and do not use multiple devices, browsers, or networks to mass-submit the same claim.

Bypassing technical limits

Do not use bots, automated requests, parameter tampering, or other methods to evade rate limits, anonymous recognition, or safety checks.

Personal data, harassment, and illegal content

Never enter names, phone numbers, email addresses, precise locations, staff details, threats, discrimination, infringement, or unlawful material in the correction form.

05 · Abuse prevention and moderation

The system uses minimum necessary data and layered evidence without publicly tracking individual reporters.

Duplicate and high-frequency submissions are limited

Rate limiting uses an anonymous identifier and server-keyed hashes of a coarse network range and browser type. ICE MAP does not store a raw IP address or precise location.

Signals may be ignored, reduced, or removed

Suspected abuse, material conflicts, expired reports, or signals without reasonable support may be excluded, given less weight, or removed early.

No right to publication or paid ranking

A submission does not guarantee publication or a reply. Shops cannot pay for inclusion, higher placement, hidden uncertainty, or positive field reports.

06 · Sources, names, external services, and changes

ICE MAP marks its boundaries and respects the owners of source material and brands.

Names identify their respective services

FamilyMart, 7‑ELEVEN, LAWSON, MINISTOP, Google Maps, and other names and marks belong to their owners. Mentioning them does not imply partnership, endorsement, or official status.

External services have their own rules

A retailer site, Google Maps, or a community source applies its own terms and privacy policy after you open it. ICE MAP does not control external content, stock, or hours.

Material changes receive a new date

This page is re-dated when abuse controls, retention periods, or use rules materially change. The Privacy Policy governs data-processing details.
