Data we process

ICE MAP does not offer user accounts or ask for your name, phone number, or address. On-site reports and flavor voting were retired on 2026-09-15. New reports are no longer collected and old reports are no longer publicly displayed. Previously collected records remain subject to the existing retention and abuse-prevention rules. A manually reviewed public-community flavor lead stores only a source code and post link, store code, normalized flavor, publication time, and import time; author names, profile images, and full comment text are not stored. A correction submission stores the text you choose to enter, its category, related site path, language and time, plus an abuse-prevention hash made in the same way. The form does not request contact details and tells you not to enter personal data. A valid submission’s text, category, path, language, time, and internal ID are also emailed through Resend to iceicemap@gmail.com for editorial verification; that email does not include the abuse-prevention hash, raw IP address, or browser data. We do not store your name, raw IP address, or precise location. Infrastructure logs may process an IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page for basic security, performance, and service reliability. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregated country, referrer, and page traffic without creating individual visitor profiles or collecting precise location. To improve the home-to-store-to-directions-and-content-sharing journey, we also increment anonymous daily totals by language, country, device class, broad acquisition channel, and content section. The channel is limited to Google, Naver, Yahoo, Bing, other search, social, referral, direct, or internal; we do not store the full URL, a visitor or session identifier, or individual action history for these totals.

Location and on-device storage

Your browser shares an approximate location only after you allow it. It is used in the browser to rank nearby stores or create a Google Maps search and is not stored on our server. Favorites, recent stores, trip picks, outing plans, tasting-passport notes and the taste fingerprint derived on-device from up to 12 recent cups, language, exchange-rate preferences, and offline files stay in browser storage and can be cleared in your browser settings. Shared outing and tasting URLs contain only a store, fixed time and expiry, or three fixed descriptors and a cup count from 3 to 12—never a name or free text.

Maps and official links

When you open Google Maps, a retailer website, or another external service, that service’s privacy policy applies. ICE MAP does not send your precise location to an external map before you choose to open it.

Shop video covers are served by ICE MAP. No video connection to YouTube is made until you press Play. Playing loads YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player; Google/YouTube may process your IP address, browser information and playback interactions, and use storage technologies under its policies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data processing. Closing removes the player. You can also open the original video or choose not to play it. Google / YouTube

Voluntary support and payments

If you choose to support ICE MAP, checkout happens on Stripe or PayPal. ICE MAP does not receive or store your full card number. The selected payment provider handles payment details, receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention under its privacy policy. Stripe Privacy · PayPal Privacy

Cookies and advertising

Only the four localized long-form Asia convenience guides can request ads; other pages do not. Where ads are allowed, third-party vendors including Google may place or read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to serve and measure ads based on previous visits. You can manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings or use the AboutAds opt-out page. The Google-certified platform enabled for this site in AdSense Privacy & messaging provides consent choices in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out for visitors in applicable US states. Children, retention, and updates

ICE MAP is not directed primarily at children and does not intentionally collect children's personal data. Before retirement, store reports affected status only within their active window: 12 hours for bought-it, 4 hours for cleaning, sold-out until midnight in Taiwan or 12 hours at most, and 24 hours for a flavor change. History, no longer publicly displayed, contains only the store, fixed status, and timestamps—not cookies, network buckets, or abuse-prevention hashes. Store flavor votes follow the brand's official cycle: up to 35 days for FamilyMart and 14 days for 7‑ELEVEN, and are no longer used as current availability signals. Abuse-prevention records are kept only as needed for security and rate limiting. External community flavor leads are used only for source-coverage auditing after their live window and are retained for no more than 90 days. Database copies of corrections and feedback are kept for up to 30 days for verification, correction, and abuse prevention, then deleted; copies sent to the editorial inbox are used only for verification and deleted when no longer needed. The cookie needed to recognize the same anonymous browser is retained for up to 180 days and can be cleared in browser site-data settings. Infrastructure logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service. Material policy changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
